Welcome to Clerestory, a new journal brought to you by the founders of Open Window Review. This small, poetry-only journal is dedicated to showcasing the work of poets from the Mountain West. We publish ten poems from ten poets in each issue, and choose poems that reflect the reality of living in a climate that is often harsh and always beautiful, poems that illuminate the unique experience of life on the high plains and the mountains. Clerestory publishes the work of new, emerging and established poets.

What a delight to read the poetry in the December issue, to feel the power of the words, to rejoice when a phrase hits home and triggers memories! I am in wonder at the inexhaustible supply of talented poets.
